Juliano's Restaurant & Catering

We ordered Juliano’s delivery for lunch. I ordered a solid Italian sausage pizza. We also ordered a 10 count of hot buffalo wings. I’d recommend getting food from this delicious, local joint.

Lovely Italian restaurant with amazingly friendly, helpful staff. We were in for lunch and enjoyed a steak hoagie, a meatball hoagie and some apps. Then ended up taking home a pizza and lasagna. All sauces made onsite daily. Such a treat. We'll definitely be going back to see the guy doing magic tricks for customers.

This was my first visit here, and I have to say—I’ll definitely be coming back! From the greeter to the server and cashier, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The food has that comforting, homemade flavor that reminds you of an Italian grandmother’s cooking. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the zucchini appetizer, but everything else more than made up for it. I ordered the Chicken Ala Nico, and it was perfect in every way. I also tried a few bites of the gnocchi, which we ordered with the Juliano sauce—absolutely excellent! I’m not usually a fan of crunchy salads, but their homemade Italian dressing completely won me over. The meatballs were some of the best I’ve ever had—better than most homemade versions—and the cheesy garlic bread paired beautifully with our meal. Although I didn’t try the pizza this time, both the thin crust and Sicilian styles looked incredible. I can’t wait to come back and try more!

A great place for the family! The food is great and the waitresses are super friendly, one of the best Italian restaurants in Pittsburgh. This place has been on for 50 years now and it's still a great place. I really recommend it.

As usual, I’m only ever taking the time to review things I think are exceptionally good (or bad), and Juliano’s is just awesome. It’s clear by the customer base and the feeling you get when you’re there that everything is done with love. Now, like a lot of people, I like pizza, and I like traditional buffalo wings. But I’ve had wings at a lot of places, and I can be a little particular. I am not exaggerating when I say these might be the best hot (and mild) buffalo wings I’ve ever had. Pepperoni pizza? Fantastic. Wings is a northeast US thing mainly, more than a general US thing. They’re so good that, since I stumbled upon Juliano’s half a year ago, I’ve come back with each of my coworkers, my wife, and tonight my whole family. They’re so good I ask for extra hot buffalo sauce to take home. This place is so good I almost don’t want to review it, because I don’t want it to get overcrowded haha. But, that would be a disservice. Congrats to the entire Juliano’s team on a job well done (for nearly 50 years now!).

Juliano’s catered our graduation party. They are knowledgeable and help with menu and food portions with number of guests. Everything was delivered on time and set up with ease. Our guests were well fed and happy. All of the food was delicious and the meatballs were a crowd favorite. 100% recommend for your next event.

After driving past this place hundreds of times over the past 30+ years, we finally stopped in to check it out on Friday evening. The place was packed, but tables opened up quickly at the tail end of the dinner rush. Nick the owner welcomed us and told us all about the history of the restaurant as well as the menu. I told him I was looking for a good fish sandwich. He assured me that his was the best in Pittsburgh, and he was not wrong. It was a huge cod filet lightly battered and served on a toasted Cellone’s hoagie bun. My son ordered a Sicilian pizza with pepperoni and sausage. I can’t recall a better Sicilian in my 57 years. The sauce was tangy, thick and bold. The crust was crisp. The cheese was melted on top of the toppings, which may not be everyone’s preference, but it worked. Our appetizer was the fried zucchini. It was about the best we ever had. The light breading pleasantly stuck to the zucchini, and the marinara was perfect. All this washed down with some ice cold Miller Lite drafts was just what the doctor ordered. The atmosphere has an old-school casual/neighborhood/family feel. Lots of hustle and bustle with customers continuously popping in and out for take-out orders. The service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely be back!

This was our first time at Juliano’s and we are sad we didn’t stop by 5 years ago when moving to the area. We split pizza and pasta and could not possibly choose which dish we liked better. The owner was fabulous and stopped to chat, he genuinely cares about your experience there which is amazing to see while dining out. We will be back soon! I’d like to say I will try a new menu item but their mix of marinara with Alfredo sauce was really something special and might be hard to say no to!
